Laura Halley

Beginning her journey in the industry, Laura started her career as a performer and theatre professional in Canada and the United States. As a working actor, she returned home to Toronto to further her training, then shifted gears into teaching and coaching, starting out as a director for educational programs. Increasing her knowledge of the film/tv industry, Laura expanded into private coaching. As the demand for individual training grew, she created Kids, Camera, Acting!
Laura was also the Artistic Director and Co-owner of Broadway North Youth Theatre for 12 years, bringing with her a vast and comprehensive understanding of the professional theatre world. Directing musical theatre and drama programs as well as her on-set acting coaching experience has afforded Laura the opportunity to work with some amazing professionals. She continues to contribute to the success of so many gifted young actors, helping them to gain confidence in their abilities, develop their talent and increase their performance resume.
"Laura's personalized approach to coaching is second to none. She adjusts her teaching based on the individual needs of her students and her lessons are always engaging. Audition preparation is an absolute must with Laura as she helps you discover things in the script you never even considered on your own."
"It has been such a positive and wonderful experience to have my children work with Laura. Her lessons strengthen and build on each child's acting skills for both stage and camera."
