ADVANCED PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Cost: $45.00 + HST/30 minutes
Classes are held virtually. In-person classes may be arranged if requested, depending on your location.
The craft of acting requires continual training to expand and develop your skill set . You may not always be on set or on stage but when opportunities come your way, make sure you are ready for them!
AGES 8 +
KIDS, CAMERA, ACTING offers regular, weekly private coaching sessions for those who are looking to advance in the industry. Upon request, coaching can include Self-Tape guidance and acting as the READER for recording your submissions.

Strengthen your skills and develop a solid approach to the craft of acting, with a focus on how to create connected and grounded performances.

Enhance your knowledge of voice-over work, auditioning, scene study, character development and performance techniques, improving your chances of callbacks and bookings.

Advanced studies will also cover accent work, text analysis, interpretation of material and in-depth concepts to help you expand your versatility and range.

Classes will prioritize coaching for ongoing audition/self-tape preparation.

INTRO TO ACTING

Our Beginner Coaching sessions will span 8 classes of individual instruction, for those new to acting. We will introduce you to what performing is all about and work on understanding how to start developing your skills.
Create and build a foundation that will get you started on your acting journey!
LEVEL 1
This course will teach the basic acting fundamentals and how to connect to a character's story. It will introduce the beginner to the importance of connecting to emotions and developing the use of your face, voice and body to create believable performances. Learn how to use your creative imagination through improv games and begin to build your technique!
Students will work toward the preparation of a short, self-tape monologue, receiving feedback on their performance.
LEVEL 2
Grow your understanding of acting techniques and how to approach preparing a scene. Learn how actors make interesting and bold character choices and expand your performance skills. Students will be given an introduction to Voiceover acting and explore how to create dynamic character voices for the world of animation!
Students will work to prepare a scene, submitting a self-tape for feedback at the end of the session.
CLASS TIMES WILL BE SET WITH THE INSTRUCTOR UPON REGISTRATION
KIDS, CAMERA, ACTING offers individual consultation sessions with parents and children looking for guidance on navigating through the industry. Sessions may also be arranged to provide feedback on self-tapes and suggestions on how you can strengthen your audition submissions.
Cost: $45.00 + HST/30 minutes

Full Payment is required upon booking. Refunds will only be issued with a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice.
